Nap-ercise?

What a time to be alive! Finally, an exercise that doesn’t require any physical movement. Like, at all.

There’s a new fitness craze that’s all the buzz right now, called Napercise. Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. You “exercise” by taking naps! Best part about this new fitness trend is that you can do it comfortably from your own bed. Now that’s something we can get down with.

We often overlook the fact that good health stems from having proper rest. Lack of sleep is everyone’s biggest downfall; when we are sleep deprived we don’t have the energy to do, well, anything, let alone exercise. We don’t even have the mental clarity to make good decisions, like grabbing that spinach and quinoa salad instead of a greasy double stacked burger with extra cheese and bacon (is anyone else hungry?).

But don't be fooled. You may not get that six-pack or those toned biceps through just napping (I wish), you also have to pair exercise with your new rested lifestyle. Getting that good sleep in will help give you the energy needed to get through that work out.
